INAB has a clear social mission to manage and future-proof Umeå's railway infrastructure. We are the municipality group's resource for developing, owning and managing railway-connected facilities, properties and infrastructure in a competitively neutral and commercial manner.

We plan and work actively for the long-term development of Umeå's railway facilities and special properties.
We manage and develop - with the goal of achieving attractive facilities that meet the needs of our tenants, society and the business community.
Our portfolio currently includes travel centers, combi terminals and Umeå wagon workshop.

The Navet swimming centre

INAB manages and maintains the Navet swimming centre – a modern facility with a 50-metre pool and water park in the centre of Umeå.

Hörnefors Travel Centre

Hörnefors Travel Centre is located along the Bothnia Line south of Umeå and is an essential hub in Umeå’s infrastructure. For many, it is a prerequisite for commuting to work – a modern building constructed by INAB between 2009 and 2011.

Umeå Central Station

The historic Umeå C station building was built in 1895-1896. INAB manages the property, which underwent an extensive renovation in December 2016.

Umeå wagon workshop

The wagon workshop at Västerslätt in Umeå is a transport workshop that aims to maintain railway vehicles for passenger transport with short maintenance stops. It was built by INAB, which is also responsible for its management.

Umeå Östra Travel Centre

A hub strategically located at Umeå University and Norrland University Hospital. INAB was responsible for the project management of the construction and has management and maintenance responsibilities.
