We at INAB work on behalf of Umeå – for Umeå and the regional benefit. By developing the city and region's infrastructure and logistics in a competitively neutral way, we create the conditions for Umeå's growth and future. Together, we work actively to make Umeå even better and to ensure that Umeå can consolidate its position as the obvious logistics hub in northern Sweden and the Nordic region.

We have the experience and expertise to transfer ideas and visions into concrete projects, management and continued development. We work with strategic positioning and planning, implementation and management. Our expertise lies in project management, logistics development, railways and strategic development.

We offer services in project management, strategic analysis, sustainability, property and railway management, and communications. Our projects often span several years and the lifespan of the end products extends far into the future.

Infrastruktur i Umeå AB, INAB, is a municipally owned company with the task of promoting, owning, managing and developing infrastructure in Umeå Municipality. We implement the municipality's larger or complex infrastructure projects. We create the conditions for efficient and long-term sustainable logistics and transport solutions.

Strategic positioning and planning

At INAB we work on an overall strategic level. A significant part of our work is creating the conditions for implementing various community development projects. The work of positioning Umeå within infrastructure, freight and logistics issues is also an important part of our mission.

Project implementation

INAB is the municipality group's project resource for community development projects such as larger or complex construction and infrastructure projects. We are involved in a wide variety of projects that we either run or participate in as advisors. These projects range from early stages to implementation and completion. The projects we work on require cutting-edge expertise, commitment and good knowledge of the municipality's various processes.

Management

INAB has a clear social mission to manage and future-proof Umeå's railway infrastructure. We are the municipality group's resource for developing, owning and managing railway-connected facilities, properties and infrastructure in a competitively neutral and commercial manner.
